Ab-Soul – Terrorist Threats (Feat. Danny Brown & Jhene Aiko) [Music Video]

Here’s the video for one of the standout tracks off of Ab-Soul’s latest project. Control System is now available on iTunes.

Gucci Mane – I’m Up (Feat. 2 Chainz)

As a certified 2 Chainz stan I’ll listen to anything with Tauheed on it, and unfortunately that includes Gucci Mane tracks. Surprisingly enough, I like The Ice Cream Man’s verse on this track (he speaks intelligible English). Burrr!

1982 (Statik Selektah and Termanology) – Happy Days (Feat. Mac Miller, Bun B and Shawn Stockman)

2012 drops on Tuesday. For this track we get Mac Miller, Bun B and Shawn Stockton (from Boyz II Men!!!!).

Cocaine 80s – Queen to Be

Always a good day when we get a new track from mysterious collective Cocaine 80s. The group, consisting of No I.D., James Fauntleroy, Common and Makeba Riddick, has been consistently dropping these tracks out of nowhere. If you haven’t picked up their last EP, Ghost Lady, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life.

Diplo – Set It Off (Feat. Lazerdisk Party Sex)

Vermont duo Lazerdisk Party Sex links up with Diplo for a track off of the upcoming June 12th release for his Express Yourself EP.

Kanye West Announces G.O.O.D. Music Album & Film Title

Kanye West’s new movie, titled Cruel Summer, will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 23. It’s also rumored that Cruel Summer is the official title of the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, which is slated to drop later this year. Mercy.

Waka Flocka Flame Covers XXL Magazine [June 2012]

Fozzie Bear covers the June issue of XXL.

He’s only been around three years and already everyone from the gangstas to hipsters love Waka Flocka Flame. The riotous rapper and architect of hits like “O Let’s Do It,” “Hard in da Paint” and “No Hands,” graces the cover ofXXL’s June issue with a special revealing interview by XXL Digital Content Director Carl Chery. In the story Waka speaks on his fast rise to celebrity status, rumored controversy with fellow Brick Squad leader Gucci Mane, what it was like to live with Nicki Minaj, running a label, bringing gangsta back to hip-hop, his new album Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family and the December 2011 murder of Waka’s good friend Slim Dunkin.

Curren$y – Capitol (Feat. 2 Chainz)

The man formerly known as Tity Boi linked up with Curren$y for this laid-back track off of Spitta’s upcoming album, The Stoned Immaculate, which will be dropping on June 5th.

Asaad – Fall Back

Asaad drops off a new track that will be featured on his upcoming EP Troy. Sunny Norway on the boards. #DMC.

Childish Gambino – We Ain’t Them (Prod. Childish Gambino & Ludwig)

Childish Gambino went off on Twitter today and ended the rant with a link to his blog. If you visit the blog you’ll be greeted by a lengthy post by Big Ghost and download link for “We Ain’t Them,” and I suggest you download it either there or below. I’ve been critical of CG ever since Camp, but I have to say that this is better than most (if not all) of the stuff he’s put out over the past year. No word yet on whether or not this will be on his upcoming mixtape, but be sure to keep your eyes open for more new material in the near future.
