After a slew of extremely crisp visuals building up to it’s release, Big Sean’s new mixtape Detroit is here – and already experiencing some monster success. In addition to features from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Young Jeezy, Royce Da 5’9”, Juicy J, Snoop Lion and great production from Hit Boy, Mano and keY Wane among others, the final product holds a higher level of artistry than we saw on Sean’s prior mixtapes. Progression is good, especially when you’re already one of raps elite. Detroit should definitely hold fans over until Sean’s sophomore album drops.
