James Blake – Life Round Here (Feat. Chance The Rapper) (Remix)

We knew this James Blake x Chance The Rapper collab was coming but we just didn’t know when. Today BBC premiered the remix to Blake’s “Life Round Here” featuring Chicago’s own Chance The Rapper. Blake hasn’t put any featured guest on one of his own tracks so this is a big deal. What a week for Chance so far. Music video coming soon.

Chance The Rapper Covers Complex

Chano lands his first major magazine cover as he graces the front of the October/November 2013 issue. Congrats to Chance. I’m sure (hint hint) there are more covers to come for the Chicago native. Head over to Complex to read how he grew up idolizing Michael Jackson, how Kanye West’s The College Dropout convinced him he didn’t need school, and confesses his love of skydiving.

Chance The Rapper – Everybody’s Somebody’s Everything [Music Video]

It’s been a while since we’ve heard/seen anything new from one of the most talked about artists of 2013. Chano is currently on the Space Migration Tour with Mac Miller and Earl Sweatshirt and is set to play Lollapalooza this weekend in his hometown of Chicago. Watch the new music video above, as Chance serenades you with his trippy video for “Everybody’s Somebody’s Everything”. Directed by Austin Vesley. Pick up Acid Rap now if you haven’t already.

Alex Wiley – Spaceships II (Feat GLC and Chance The Rapper)

Chicago’s Alex Wiley just released his debut mixtape, Club Wiley, to pretty big fanfare. Featuring cameos from Action Bronson, Chance The Rapper, GLC, Freddie Gibbs and Vic Mensa, Club Wiley is definitely a project that should be on your radar. Download the entire project here, and take a listen to his homage to Yeezy’s “Spaceships”.

Brian Fresco – Mafioso [Mixtape]

Chance paved the way. Now it’s time for the rest of Save Money to get their shine. It begins with Brian Fresco and his project Mafioso. It’s been a highly anticipated mixtape for me ever since “Steamer” dropped a couple of months back. After one run through, Mafioso does not disappoint. Take a listen below.

Chance The Rapper – Acid Rap [Mixtape]

It’s finally here. The follow up project to the critically acclaimed 10 Day is here. Receiving praise and co-signs from some of the industry’s most respected member, playing sold out shows across the country and acid trips in Mexico; it’s been a crazy year for Chano. With hints of features from artists like Childish Gambino, Ab-Soul, Vic Mensa and Bj The Chicago Kid, Acid Rap quickly became 2013′s most anticipated release. Take a listen below to see if it was worth the wait (hint: it was).

Chance The Rapper – Smoke Again (Feat. Ab-Soul) [Music Video]

Before Acid Rap drops tomorrow and the entire internet explodes, Chano and ILLROOTS link up to give us the third official single. Produced by Blended Babies, “Smoke Again” features TDE’s Ab-Soul who asks us all to “take a Chance with this rapper”. After watching the video for “Smoke Again”, I don’t really know what other evidence you need to convince you that Chance is bound for stardom. Clap for him. Directed by ILLROOTS, shot and edited by Dylan Knight.
