When Consequence was somewhat relevant. How the mighty have fallen.
Consequence delivers the artwork and tracklist for his upcoming “Movies On Demand” project. Gotta say, I’m pretty excited to see what he comes up with for the mixtape, as the Queens-based rapper battles to maintain his reputation amidst his vendetta against Kanye and the G.O.O.D. Music team. Check out the Ed Rock-produced video below for “Comic Book Flow,” which Cons offered up as a preview.
Looks like Cons is taking some serious shots at G.O.O.D. Music and more specifically, Kanye West. We saw a snippet of this video a couple of months ago and we’ve seen Consequence go to Twitter to express his frustration. As I was watching this I couldn’t help but feel like it was a WWII propaganda video. Cons may be speaking the truth, but isn’t this a battle he can’t win? I don’t really see the upside of this video. What do you think?
I would have expected much better than this from Cons. Today he released “The Plagiarist Society,” a weak diss track directed from a former to a current G.O.O.D. Music frontman, Pusha T. This is supposedly the first strike in a war that Consequence is waging on Kanye and his partners, as he warns that the next diss is headed straight at West. The Queens native is just few months removed from the group, which he cut ties with because he felt the label was excessively imposing itself on his own agenda. Perhaps the heat is making everyone cranky today?
In celebration of the ATCQ documentary opening last week, here’s an old G.O.O.D. Music remix to one of their most popular tracks. I had the chance to check out Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest this past weekend in Brooklyn and let’s just say I’m probably gonna see it again this weekend. Director Mike Rapaport did ATCQ justice and his passion was evident when I saw him do a Q & A after the movie. If you’re in the New York area, I highly recommend you see it in Brooklyn. It’s an experience like no other.
A snipped of this dropped a couple of months ago and was supposed to be on the Cons TV project. I totally forgot about this track. So glad the full version dropped. Thanks to @macmediapromo for the email.
New track from Beyonce’s upcoming album 4, which drops June 28th. First verse from Andre that I can remember since the Deuces remix. Kanye on the boards and small guest appearance at the end.
RESPESCT: YOU HEARD THAT NEW
In light of the recent passing of influential artist Gil-Scott Heron (at the age of 62), Consequence decided to use a Kanye West track from Late Registration that sampled the late revolutionary poet. Definitely have been spinning my copy of The Revolution Will Not Be Televised on wax today.
Here’s an old track from when Consequence was with G.O.O.D Music. Shouts to ThisBonusTrack.com.

Another Kanye West produced track off Consequence’s Movies on Demand 3 mixtape which drops later this month. I feel like any Kanye produced track is dope. Enjoy.
