As always, Jody Highroller delivers the goods in the form of various quotables like “my new bitch looks like a Lamborghini in a bikini” and “I found your wife on clearance at Wal-Mart.” RiFF!

Heems’ Wild Water Kingdom mixtape is finally here. His last one, Nehru Jackets, was one of the best of the year, and all of the singles leading up to the new one have been great. Wild Water Kingdom has less features than its predeccesor, but what it lacks in guest verses it makes up for in production. With names like Harry Fraud, Mike Finito, Keyboard Kid and Steel Tipped Dove it’s hard to go wrong as far as beats are concerned, and the variety here is a nice complement to Nehru Jackets. Believe it or not, I’m actually more excited about Heems’ upcoming mixtape than I was about Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city. Heems already has one of the best mixtapes of the year with Nehru Jackets, and releasing a second one in the fall is just icing on the cake. The first single, “Killing Time,” was a very promising taste of what the Das Racist emcee has to offer this time around. The newest cut is called “Cowabunga Gnarly,” and the Harry Fraud production on it is excellent as always. Wild Water Kingdom drops on November 1.
