Cocaine 80s – Lucid

We get the first leak from Cocaine 80s upcoming EP The Flower Of Life. Always a good thing when Cocaine 80s makes their way back into my life.

Big Sean – She (Feat. Common) (Prod. No I.D.)

Tonight we get what is (I think) a leaked song from Big Sean’s upcoming sophomore album Hall of Fame.

Cocaine 80s – Queen to Be

Always a good day when we get a new track from mysterious collective Cocaine 80s. The group, consisting of No I.D., James Fauntleroy, Common and Makeba Riddick, has been consistently dropping these tracks out of nowhere. If you haven’t picked up their last EP, Ghost Lady, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life.

Nas – Daughters (Prod. No I.D.)

Power 105.1′s DJ Prostyle let loose this track. Shouts to all the daughters out there.

Common – Raw (How You Like It)

Not as strong as the previous leaks but still good nonetheless.  Produced by No I.D. again.  Common held his listening party last night for The Dreamer, The Believer.  According to all of the blogger reviews this album isn’t going to disappoint.

Common – Celebrate (Prod. No I.D.)

The fourth track we’ve heard from Common’s The Dreamer, The Believer.  Dropping December 20th.  No I.D. on the boards again.  Pre-order The Dreamer, The Believer on iTunes now.

Common – Sweet (Prod. No I.D.)

This album is gonna be epic to say the least.  Nice recovery from the disaster that was Universal Mind Control. Can’t fucking wait.  Flex with the premiere.

UPDATE: CDQ

Pac Div – The Greatness (Prod. No I.D.)

Title of the song pretty much explains it all.  This is off of their upcoming project The DiV which drops Nov 8th on iTunes.

Behind the Scenes of “Ghetto Dreams” with Common and Nas

A real interesting behind the scenes look of the process behind “Ghetto Dreams”. Why couldn’t Nas be this enthusiastic towards the camera during the Nardwuar interview?  Brian “B.Kyle” Atkins behind the camera.

Cocaine 80s – The Pursuit EP [Mixtape]

The people over at Fake Shore Drive stumbled upon this mixtape by No I.D.-led collective Cocaine 80s. The group consists of No I.D., Common, Steve Wyreman, Rob Kinelski, Kevin Randolph, James Fauntleroy, Makeba. As they said at FSD, this project kinda came out of nowhere. Definitely worth a download though, even if it is just for the Common x No I.D. collab track.
