Theophilus London has been pretty quiet lately, but the newest piece of music from him comes in the form of a new joint effort with friend and past collaborator Jesse Boykins III. The two previously worked on my favorite TL song, “Humdrum Town,” but the new track is more R&B oriented. The duo are going by the name Paris 96, and you can stream and download their new song down below.
CMJ is taking over NYC next week and one of the most intriguing lineups comes next Saturday and Gramercy Theatre. The bill features Theophilus London, Travi$ Scott, King Chip (Chip Tha Ripper) and Phony Ppl. Can’t get much better than that. Make sure to pick up tickets here.
Theophilus London hops on one of the stand out tracks from Yuna’s self-titled debut album.
Brooklyn’s own Theophilus London experiments with a variety of styles in his newest project, Rose Island Vol. 1. Still, with the dopest beat I’ve heard this year and a bit of help from fellow New Yorker A$AP Rocky, “Big Spender” remains the standout. Take a listen below, or download it at datpiff.
Rose Island drops next week. Produced by Twin Shadow.
Big Boi recruits Theophilus London and Tre Luce for this single. Pour a glass of wine, light up the fireplace and play this for your lady.
“Let me see you titties. Let me see your pussy. Let me see you titties. Let me see your pussy”
New Theophilus London is never a bad thing. This laid back track is off of his upcoming mixtape Rose Island which should be out any day now.
Phony Ppl returned to the Brooklyn Museum this past Friday to perform as part of the Keith Haring exhibit. The set was a mix of new and old tracks and surprise appearance by Theophilus London. Crowd was turnt up. I didn’t go to the concert with intentions of making a recap so I don’t have as much footage as I would’ve liked and I didn’t have a microphone to get good sound , but this is better than nothing right?
Ever since we were given the infamous studio footage, bloggers and fans alike have had continuous music boners. Welp, it’s finally here. CDQ. DJ Carnage on the beat.
