Gary Clark Jr. – Bright Lights EP

Introducing Mr. Gary Clark Jr. The 27 year old has been called “the savior of blues” and has drawn critical acclaim from publications like Rolling Stone and has even had a day named after him (at the age of 18) in his hometown of Austin, Texas. Recently, Clark has been featured at festivals like Bonnaroo and Crossroads Guitar Festival. Clark just dropped his most recent project on August 11, the highly anticipated Bright Lights EP.  I was a huge blues/jazz fan in high school but hip-hop has kind of taken over my iTunes library the past couple of years. Shouts to MoTown for getting me back on the blues wagon. Stream two tracks off the EP below and make sure to pick up the whole thing on iTunes. Check out some live footage of Gary Clark Jr. below at the Crossroads Festival in 2010.
