The Underachievers – The Mahdi [Music Video]

With Indigoism dropping on Friday, The Underachievers release the visuals for their song “The Mahdi”. Directed by Luke Monaghan, “The Mahdi” takes place in LA, the hometown of their Brainfeeder boss, Flying Lotus.

Rick Ross – Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe (Remix)

Gets involved in a shooting, puts out a Kendrick remix. Nice.

Pusha T – Wrath Of Caine [Mixtape]

Pusha T recruited Rick Ross, Young Chop and The Neptunes among others for his newest mixtape, and everything we’ve heard so far has been pretty damn good. Stream the tape below or head to LiveMixtapes to download it.

Grizzly Bear – Gun-Shy [Music Video]

You like gifs? Good. Cause apparently Grizzly Bear likes gifs too. “Gun-Shy”, directed by Kris Moyes, was shot in Germantown, New York and shows band members extracting metaphorical “creativity” from their bodies. Trippy.

Kendrick Lamar, Adam Levine and Lonely Island – YOLO

K.Dot was on SNL last night. And Adam Levine hosted. I don’t know if there’s such thing as dream team for an SNL episode, but this is pretty close. Andy Samberg and Lonely Island make their return to SNL in the form of a new digital short, “YOLO” featuring Levine and Kendrick. Also check out Kendrick performing “Swimming Pools” and “Poetic Justice” below. Download “YOLO” here.

Phony Ppl Interview With DJ Semtex on BBC 1xtra

The Phony movement is moving overseas. UK’s own DJ Semtex has been a Phony Ppl supporter for a while now. On a recent Friday night edition of BBC 1xtra, Semtex listed Phony Ppl as one of his acts that are hot for 2013. Elbee Thriee hopped on the phone for a couple of minutes and educated the masses on Phony Ppl and what to expect from them in 2013. Take a listen below.

Pusha T – Only You Can Tell It (Feat. Wale)

Pusha’s Wrath Of Caine coming soon.

D. Bridge – Origami (Feat. Chance The Rapper, Gerald Walker and Michael Anthony)

Midwest rappers D. Bridge, Gerald Walker and Chance the Rapper for a smooth new track by the name of “Origami”. While the verse from itsthebino frequenter Chance The Rapper is until the end, it’s well worth the wait.

Listen To The Neighbourhood Cover “Say My Name” & “Cry Me A River”

It seems like everyone has been too busy complaining about the Coachella headliners to notice the other acts who will be gracing the stage in Indio. One of those acts happens to be The Neighbourhood, a band who have been putting out nothing but great music since I first heard about them back in early 2012. Here’s what lead singer Jesse Rutherford has to say about their latest release:

“Our tour manager (@ellisusa) showed us a remix of ‘Say My Name’ recently and we all dug it a lot. I’ve always loved that song. That is what I grew up on—just late ’90s early 2000s radio pop…. Just learned the chords and took it to our own place. We were playing it and I just started singing ‘Cry Me a River’ in the middle and it sounded dope so we decided to mash the two together.”

Local Natives – You & I

Local Natives’ sophomore LP comes out next week and they decided to give us a little treat to take us into the weekend. “You & I” is the first track on Hummingbird, which drops on Tuesday.
