Johnny Edward – The Race [Live Acoustic Session]

Johnny Edward is a Chicago area singer/songwriter. Over the last few months, his song “The Race” has gained heavy radio play over at the Sirius XM radio station The Coffee House. Here, Johnny performs the standout track acoustically alongside Evan Graham Dunn.  Check out “The Race” here and be on the lookout for his sophomore album, This is Home, to impact this summer.

Speedy Ortiz – Ka-Prow!

Western Massachusetts has been killing it recently. One of my favorite albums of the year was released by Amherst’s California X, Dinosaur Jr. has been fantastic since ever since they got back together in ’07, and now there’s a group from Northampton to keep an eye on. Speedy Ortiz released a great EP last summer called Sports, and the band’s newest single keeps that momentum going. “Ka-Prow!” was recorded by Justin Pizzoferrato (who also recorded Dinosaur Jr.’s I Bet on Sky) and will available on April 30. Stream the track below and follow the link to pre-order the 7″.

Frank Ocean – Lost [Music Video]

“Lost” is without a doubt the best song off of Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange. Watch the Francisco Soriano-directed visuals above as they follow Frank around the world as well as on stage and in the studio.

Dre Skull – First Time (Feat. Megan James & Popcaan)

Brooklyn producer Dre Skull linked up with Purity Ring’s Megan James and dancehall artist Popcaan for this song called “First Time.” James’ vocals are as sweet and airy as ever, but this one really takes off when Popcaan comes in around the halfway point.

Pusha T – Numbers On The Boards

After teasing us through social media all morning, the G.O.O.D. Music member drops a one off, “Numbers On The Boards”. Produced by Kanye West.

Joey Purp and Tokyo Shawn – World Turning

Save Money’s Joey Purp, Tokyo Shawn and Caleb James link up for “World Turning”. (Snapped the pic above yesterday in Williamsburg, BK).

Sid Sriram – Winter Mind [Music Video]

One of our favorite artists, singer Sid Sriram, gives us some official visuals before West Coast Nightfall; Before Dusk releases on April 17th.

Jay-Z – Open Letter

Hov, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz link up for a stand alone track titled “Open Letter”.

Action Bronson – Live From Kissena Blvd

Today we get Action Bronson’s contribution to DJ Funkmaster Flex’s mixtape Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself?, which is due out April 17.

Grande Marshall – Mugga Man [Mixtape]

Fools Gold signee and Philadelphia artist Grande Marshall released his new project today, Mugga Man.  The 21-track mixtape is a perfect way to start the spring/summer. Download here. Also check out the official music video to the title track below.
