The RHCP released “Brendan’s Death Song” back in 2011 in honor of their late freind Brendan Mullen, who founded Hollywood punk club the Masque. He served as the person who gave the Peppers their first big break, when he scheduled them to open for Bad Brains in 1983. Mullen passed away in 2009 and the RCHP wrote “Brendan’s Death Song” for their 2011 album I’m With You. Today we get a jazz funeral music video in tribute to Mullen.
