Hailing from Maryland (now residing in Bed-Stuy), Allan Cole and Darien Birks (and sometimes Naturel) make up the production/design duo The Stuyvesants. Self-described “weird innovators”, The Stuyvesants create music that pays homage to the 70s and represents their home of the past ten years, Bedford-Stuyvesant. I stumbled on this track going through people’s twitter timelines. I guess this is the reward I get for being bored. They released this track this past summer on their website.
